Woohoo! We are making progress! Our Adoption Home Study is finally completed and approved! We are SO close! There is one more part to the adoption paperwork. The case worker will need to complete a personal development assessment for each child. She will complete this based on what she observes of the children monthly. It will include what their needs are and what needs she might see them developing in the future. She has mentioned to us that she sees our bond with the children developing, and we are growing as a family. It is important to keep in mind that through the adoption process, the workers are not only looking at our home as a safe place for the children, but they are also looking to see how the family functions as a unit. The adoptive placement needs to prove beneficial for the parents as well as the children. We thank you all for your prayers and support.
